IDT Financial Services Limited (IDT) uses information collected from its registered customers and visitors to its website  to enable and enhance the services we offer to you and to improve your online experience. If you are an IDT registered customer, we may use your personal information for the purposes of: (a) allowing you to make certain payments using our products and services  (b) verifying that you are the relevant IDT customer if you call Customer Services or otherwise contact IDT (for reasons of security, you will be asked for some of the details you provided during the registration process) (c) informing you of any service related changes affecting your use of IDT products and services; (d) contacting you to ask whether you are interested in using a new IDT offering (e) contacting you to ask whether you would like to attend a research group to help us improve our service to you (f) for crime and fraud detection and prevention (g) collecting any payments due from you

If you are an IDT registered customer or you provide us with personal information in the context of a promotion or competition, we may use the personal information you provide for the purposes of: (a) assessing and developing IDT and related products and services (b) informing you of other IDT products and services, as well as special offers, unless you choose not to receive this information (c) informing you of any products and services offered by other companies that we think may be of interest to you, provided that you choose to receive this information. If you choose to receive information from other companies, we may sometimes disclose your personal information to those companies. We will only do so where those companies have undertaken not to use your personal information for any purpose other than to provide information to you. In connection with the provision of services to you IDT, and any other companies or agencies authorised by us, may carry out credit checks and fraud prevention checks with one or more licensed credit reference and fraud prevention agencies and we may retain a record of the search. Information held about you by such agencies may be linked to records relating to other persons living at the same address and such records will be taken into account in credit checks and fraud prevention checks. Information from your application and payment details of your account will be recorded with one or more of these agencies and may be shared with other organisations to help make credit and insurance decisions about you and members of your household and for debt collection and fraud prevention.

IDT may also share the information which you provide with our affiliates or third parties for administration, data storage or processing purposes.

IDT Financial Services Limited is a subsidiary of IDT Corporation and a part of the IDT Group.  We may disclose your information to other companies in the IDT Group of companies, including their respective partners, agents and sub-contractors, for any of the above purposes. Consent

Third party sites

Our privacy policy does not apply to third party sites that you may access from the IDT site. You should therefore ensure that you are familiar with the applicable privacy policy before entering any personal information on a third party site.


Security of your Personal Information

IDT secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. IDT secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Children On The Web

IDT does not specifically collect information about children and we believe that children should get their parents' consent before giving out any personal information.
