In order to ensure the likelihood of a successful application for maximum card limits and ATM access, we recommend that you also have either your passport or full UK driving licence to hand when we call you back to complete your application.

In addition, if you would like to apply for a second card on your account please ensure that you know the second cardholder’s date of birth.

If you apply by phone you will be charged an additional £1.95 on top of the price of the upgrade (so the upgrade fee will be either £3.90 for a single card upgrade or £8.90 to upgrade your existing card and have an additional card on the same account). Please note that online and postal upgrades do not incur this additional fee.
